Most AFIS systems perform a linear search on their database requiring the examination of each print until a correct match is found.

FClient's search is performed on a unique memory structure which greatly reduces the amount of information to be processed, resulting in search speeds unheard of in conventional fingerprint identification systems.

 

Automatic adjustment of confidence

FClient's software program design and layout enables the system to automatically determine the correct number of best matches. This results in fewer prints to be examined thus making more effective use of operator time.

 

All print types

FClient's search is applicable to all print types including arch-type patterns.

 

360 Degree Rotation

FClient's search engine allows for full 360 degree rotation of both known and unknown databases. This is particularly useful where searches are made on small fragments and provides a higher hit probability.

 

AutoMark Assistant

FClient's AutoMark Assistant helps in marking the minutae of the existing print. This unique feature was designed to also help those operators that dont have the extensive knowledge that years of experience can give in picking minutae.

 

MultiCore Search Function

FClient's MultiCore search function enables a high degree of accuracy on arch-type prints as well as prints where the actual placing of the core is uncertain. This feature is also an excellent tool for analyzing partial prints.

 

Neutralize Ridge Variance

This is a unique feature developed by AFISLite that is used to adjust for the variance, caused by ridge patterns from different types of prints that have been entered into the db, ie. rolled vs latent vs livescan vs camera. The older db technology (prints) can now be integrated into the new db without major ramifications.
